  Here is the orange room where we idle our machines next to open windows,  

  while we broom up cloud-bound moisture in flitting strands of hair,  

  that breeze lifts our voices away and the remainder is spent searching for the words.  

  For Socrates, leisure (trad. σχολή, or scholē) did not connote indulgence or laziness, rather it referred to a consistent plane of generative free time: a ritualistic incubation of one’s own knowledge. We see leisure and learning as two oars on the same boat, and within Loisirs Distribués attempt the generalized and consistent distribution of a sonic σχολή.
